Our refreshed brand and what it means for partners and families

Over the past several months, AP-OD has been working on a refresh to our brand—one that reflects the diversity, strength, and vibrancy of the families and communities we serve. We’ve listened to you, our partners, and know how important it is for AP-OD’s brand to be as inclusive and welcoming as the families who make up our national community.
Our new look brings the best of our history forward with a fresh and modern feel. Soon, you’ll see this update reflected across our website, social media, curriculum, publications, and more. While our image has evolved, our mission remains the same, including our unwavering commitment to honoring and supporting families.
Since our founding in 2007, AP-OD has proudly served hundreds of thousands of families across the U.S., fostering community, building power with parents as leaders and teachers in their families, and championing the importance of early childhood development and education. What began as a program focused on Latino and Spanish-speaking families has grown into a national movement, reaching diverse families across the country. Today, we have worked in 42 states, partnered with over 800 organizations, and certified more than 4,000 facilitators. Together, we are on track to serve over 1 million families by 2030.
This brand refresh is just one step in our ongoing journey to grow and expand our impact. While AP-OD continues to evolve, our mission remains the same: to honor and support parents as leaders of their families and their child’s first and most influential teachers. Through our educational content, evidence-based curriculum, and trusted resources, we support families in building skills, accessing opportunities, and forming lifelong connections.
We are honored to continue moving people, resources, and systems into action so that families can thrive. Together, we are opening doors to a better future—the future our children deserve.
