Our latest Facilitator Highlight features Margarita Gómez, an AP-OD facilitator and Early Literacy Specialist with Tandem, Partners in Early Learning in the Bay Area. Margarita first discovered AP-OD nine years ago as a parent seeking to better understand her daughter’s development. The experience gave her tools to support her family and inspired her to share that knowledge with other parents.
Today, Margarita facilitates the AP-OD 4th Edition, creating spaces where parents learn from one another, build confidence, and discover practical ways to support their children’s development. Her journey shows how parent leadership can create a ripple effect, strengthening families and communities.
